- Continuity is when nothing changes about someone between scenes. For instance if someone in a scene picks up a cup with thier right hand, in the following scene the cup is to be in the same hand.
- In frames people should not be drawn as stick men.
- Arrows inside the frame box indicates a characters movement.
- Arrows outside the box shows the direction of the cameras movement.
- Tilting the camera is rotating it upwards and downwards where jibing is moving the camera upwards and downwards.
- Panning is rotating the camera sideways and tracking is moving the camera sideways
- The 180 degree rule is where there is a straight line which no camera should cross so that a moving object always appears to be travelling in the same direction.
- Diegetic sound is when you can see the source of sound. Non deigetic sound is when you cannot see the source.
- Shot reverse shot is when shots cnahge between 2 cameras
SHOT SIZES

This is a persons face and when the camera shows this much of a face it is called an Extreme Close Up (ECU)
Medium Close Up (MCU) is when you can see a persons head and shoulders but not the arm pit, you may also see a part of the horizon.
3 Quarter shot is when you can see a person down to their waist with a background.

Medium Long Shot (MLS) is when you can see the whole body of a person in a frame with little gap above their ead and below their feet. A long shot is even further away with gaps above and below.
RULE OF THIRDS
The rule of thirds is when the frame is divided up into 9 equal parts. This is done with horizontal lines 1 third of the way down and 2 thirds of the way down, also vertical lines 1 third of the way down and 2 thirds of the way down.
